Menacingly

With uncontrolled

Energy

Ready to burst

Into big bang.

A chain of thought

Unfolds itself

Stillness of night

Feels shy of cold winter.

The moon too goes

Out of sight

Hides itself

Behind Window curtain

As you come

Smiling to me

And I hold you in my arms,

Whispering, ‘I love you so such’

Slowly drowsiness increases

And I overpowered by sleep become still.

This is a very old poem written in 1993 when I was just engaged and was on official assignment to Nasik
